Special days

This animated pattern was created by harvesting Wikipedia for historic events and famous people, and mapping both events and birth dates on a calendar for each day of the year. These occurrences are depicted by lines over a circular grid which works as a timeline. The colors and orientations of the arcs within each circle create a unique pattern for each day of the year.
